Glossy Stickers FAQ
Q: Should I make glossy or matte stickers?
A: It depends on your use and preferences. If you have fine text, a matte finish may work better. Matte stickers are easier to read in all lighting conditions because they limit glare and light reflections. That said, they also subdue the color a bit.
If you are looking for a more high energy sticker, a glossy finish may be better. It makes the color pop, enhancing the color contrast.
Q: Why are glossy vinyl stickers better than other types of stickers?
A: Simply put, vinyl is the most premium and highest quality material that can be used for stickers. Vinyl is waterproof and lasts for years outdoors. Many sticker companies use BOPP (Polypropelene), a much lower quality material typically only suited for indoor use. It will generally degrade after a couple of months. Some companies even use paper for their stickers which typically last days.
Q: What are die-cut stickers?
A: Die-cut stickers are cut to the exact shape of your design. This makes your design pop. They have a great appearance even before you've stuck them somewhere. These vinyl stickers are perfect for handing out at events, promoting your brand or business, or sharing your designs. We can cut all types of custom shapes.
Q: What are kiss-cut stickers?
A: Kiss-cut stickers are not cut through the backing paper. They are typically printed onto sticker sheets so you can have multiple designs on one page. We offer Sticker Sheets, in addition to die-cut stickers. Our sticker sheets also use premium white vinyl. You can put multiple custom shapes onto a sheet.

We also have technology that allows us to cut detailed designs with extreme accuracy. All of our personalized stickers are laminated and durable for five+ years outdoors. Q: Should I order glossy stickers or labels?
A: In addition to stickers we offer glossy labels and matte labels. Labels are temporary in nature, and typically come on a label roll or sheet. They are designed to be easier to apply to product packaging. However, custom labels won't have nearly the same durability and lifespan that our stickers offer.
Q: What type of file do I need to submit for my sticker design?
A: Our design team can work with virtually any file type. For best results, we recommend a high-resolution image such as a PNG or JPG or a Vector file such as an SVG, AI, and EPS. If you need help enhancing the resolution of your file, our team can help.
Q: Can I order just one custom glossy sticker?
A: Yes, we have no minimum quantities! We can help whether you need a single glossy sticker or thousands.
Q: I need a specific sticker size that isn't listed. Is this possible?
A: Yes, of course! You can purchase the closest size and leave a note at checkout, or contact us, and we can give you a quote.
Q: Are your glossy stickers removable or permanent?
A: Our stickers have a permanent adhesive. They will stay strong for years on most surfaces without issue. However, they can be removed without leaving a sticky residue.
Q: Can I use a photo as my artwork for my customizable stickers?
A: Yes! Many customers make awesome stickers of their family, friends, pets, and more. If you need your image cropped, please leave a note at checkout so our design team understands what you want to be done.
Q: Can you turn my logo into a gloss sticker?
A: Yes! Logo stickers and business stickers are some of our most printed stickers. If you need assistance setting up your logo to print, don't hesitate to reach out. Gloss stickers work well for product packaging, or for free order throw-ins.
